When do I need to withdraw?
In rare cases, a cross-chain transaction does not complete. When this happens, your funds are held safely in the Relay Hub. The Relay Hub is a secure on-chain escrow contract on the chain where you sent your funds. It keeps your funds safe until you reclaim them.
When you don't need to withdraw
You only need this page if a transfer did not complete and your funds are in the Relay Depository Hub. You do not need to withdraw if:
Your transfer completed and the funds arrived.
Your transfer is still processing. Give it a little time.

How to withdraw
Step 1: Go to the withdrawal page
Visit relay.link/withdraw and connect the wallet you used to send the funds.
Step 2: Verify your deposit
On the Verify & Withdraw tab, select the chain where you sent your funds. Paste the transaction hash from your original transaction. Click Verify.
Step 3: Verify more deposits, or continue
After a successful verification, the page shows the withdrawal step. If you have more than one incomplete transaction, click ← Verify another transaction and repeat Step 2 for each one. You can verify multiple deposits and then complete one withdrawal for all of them.
If you verified your deposit earlier, click Already verified? Go to withdrawal to skip Step 2.
Step 4: Select what to withdraw
On the withdrawal step, select the chain where you sent your deposit and the token you want to withdraw. Your wallet address and available balance appear automatically. Click Withdraw.
Step 5: Sign, prepare, and submit
The withdrawal has three parts: Sign, Prepare, and Submit.
Click Sign with Wallet and confirm the signature in your wallet. The signature is free. No gas fee is required.
The system prepares your withdrawal. This usually takes a few minutes. You can close the page and come back later.
When preparation is complete, click Submit Transaction and confirm in your wallet. This step requires a small gas fee.
Withdrawal complete!
Your funds return to your wallet. Funds may take a few moments to appear. Click the transaction link to view it on the block explorer. You can also see past withdrawals on the History tab.
Good to know
Your funds are always safe. They are held in a secure, non-upgradable escrow contract. The contract can only release them to the original sender.
Relay never takes custody of your funds. The protocol is a set of smart contracts, not a custodial wallet.
Signing is free. Only the final submit step requires a small gas fee.
Balance not showing? Connect the same wallet address you used for the original transaction. It can take up to 30 minutes for your balance to appear.
