Where are my funds?

Find out where your funds are by checking the status of your transfer on the Relay transaction page.

Most transfers arrive within moments. If yours has not shown up yet, the transaction page will tell you exactly where it is. Start there before doing anything else, and do not send the transfer again.

Start here: look up your transfer

Go to relay.link/transactions and paste either the wallet address you sent from or the transaction hash of your deposit into the filter box. Click your transfer to open its details.

For a full walkthrough of finding a transfer and reading the details page, see How do I find my transaction?

What the status tells you

The banner at the top of the details page is the answer to where your funds are.

Success

The transfer completed and the funds were delivered. The Fill side of the page shows the destination chain, the recipient address, and the exact amount that arrived. If the status says Success but you still cannot see the funds, see the next section.

Processing

The transfer is still in progress. Leave it alone and do not send a second transfer. If it has been sitting in Processing far longer than you would expect, contact us with the details and we will look into it.

Failure

The transfer did not complete. This does not mean your funds are gone. In most cases you can reclaim them yourself, and the steps are in How to Withdraw Funds. If that page does not cover your situation, contact us.

Status says Success but you cannot see the funds

This is almost always a display issue in the receiving wallet rather than a missing transfer. Check each of these against the Fill side of the details page:

  • You are on the wrong chain. The Fill side names the destination chain. Switch your wallet to that chain before looking for the balance.

  • The token is not showing yet. Many wallets only display tokens they already know about. You may need to add the token manually using its contract address before the balance appears.

  • You are checking a different wallet. Compare the recipient address on the Fill side with the address of the wallet you have open. They must match exactly.

  • You sent to an exchange or a smart contract wallet. These credit on their own schedule, so the funds can be on chain before they appear in the account balance.

If the recipient address on the Fill side is not an address you control, the funds went to that address and we cannot reverse the transfer. Contact us and include the transaction page link.

If you cannot find your transfer at all

  • Paste the full address or hash. A partial value will not match.

  • Try the other side of the transfer. If the sending address returns nothing, search the receiving address.

  • Make sure you are searching the wallet you actually used. If your wallet holds several accounts, it may have been a different one.

  • If you started the transfer inside another app or wallet rather than on relay.link, search the address that app sent from.

  • A very recent transfer needs to confirm on the source chain before it appears.

Still need help

Open the chat widget on relay.link and send us the link to your transaction page, or the full transaction hash of your deposit. That is everything we need to trace it, and it saves us having to ask.
