Disconnecting removes your wallet from your Relay session. Nothing leaves your wallet, no funds move, and your transaction history stays on the network. You are only ending the link between your wallet and the Relay app in this browser.
Disconnect a wallet on Relay
Step 1: Open your wallet panel
Go to relay.link and click your wallet address in the top right corner. A panel opens showing your total balance, with Tokens and Activity tabs beneath it.
Step 2: Check the address shown
Your address appears at the top of the panel, next to a button for copying it. Confirm it is the wallet you mean to remove before you go further.
Step 3: Click the power icon
The power icon sits at the top right of the panel, on the same row as your address. Clicking it disconnects the wallet. The other buttons on that row copy your address and add another wallet, so take care to click the right one.
If you only want to use a different wallet
You do not need to disconnect to change which wallet a swap uses. On the swap form, the Sell row sets where the funds come from and the Buy row sets where they land. Each row has its own wallet control, shown as Select wallet when nothing is chosen yet, so you can point a swap at a different wallet while leaving your connection alone.
Also remove Relay in your wallet
Disconnecting on Relay ends the session, but most wallets separately remember which sites they have been connected to. If you want to remove that permission as well, do it from your wallet:
Open your wallet extension or app.
Find its connected sites or connected apps settings.
Remove
relay.linkfrom the list.
The exact wording differs between wallets, but nearly all of them have this setting. This step is optional, and it is the one to use if Relay keeps reconnecting on its own.
Reconnecting later
Disconnecting is not permanent. Click Connect in the top right whenever you want to use Relay again, and approve the connection in your wallet. Your funds and past transactions are unaffected either way, and you can still look up any past transfer at relay.link/transactions.
If the wallet will not disconnect
If it reconnects by itself, remove
relay.linkfrom your wallet's connected sites as described above, then reload the page.If the panel still shows a wallet after you disconnect, refresh the page.
If you are using a mobile wallet's built in browser, close and reopen the browser tab.
Still stuck? Open the chat widget on relay.link and tell us which wallet you are using, and we will help.
