Arc is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 developed by Circle and designed for stablecoin finance. Arc Public Mainnet is scheduled to launch on 16 September 2026, and Relay plans to support Arc from day one.
Two things make Arc different from most chains you may have used.
Transaction fees (gas) on Arc are paid in USDC, not ETH.
Arc is new, so not every wallet supports it yet.
The section below covers the questions you might have.
When is Arc (by Circle) supported on Relay?
Relay plans to support Arc from its public mainnet launch on 16 September 2026. Arc will appear in the chain selector on relay.link/bridge once public support is enabled.
Do I need ETH to use Arc?
No. On Arc, transaction fees (gas) are paid in USDC. You do not need ETH or any other token in your wallet to send funds from Arc.
I bridged all my USDC out of Arc, and now it says "insufficient funds". Why?
Because gas on Arc is paid in USDC, sending your entire USDC balance leaves nothing to pay the fee with. Keep a small amount of USDC on Arc when you send funds out. If you have already hit this, send a small amount of USDC back to your Arc address and try again.
Why do I see USDC twice on Arc? Are they the same?
Yes, they are the same balance. Arc shows USDC in two ways: as the chain's native currency (used for gas) and as a standard token. Both point to the same USDC. Your wallet may display one, the other, or both, depending on the wallet.
I sent funds to Arc, and I can't see them in my wallet. Where are they?
When the transaction is completed successfully on Relay, your funds are delivered to the destination address on Arc. The most common reason you cannot see them is that your wallet is not showing the Arc network. Follow the steps below to find your funds:
Verify your transaction: Search your wallet address or deposit tx hash at relay.link/transactions. Verify that it’s complete, the address and token are correct, and the funds are on Arc. If so, the issue is usually on the wallet side.
For more detailed steps, check https://support.relay.link/en/articles/9260724-how-do-i-find-my-transaction
Once confirmed the transaction is correct and successfully delivered to the Arc chain destination, check that your wallet is switched to Arc. If Arc is not in your wallet's network list, add it (see https://support.relay.link/en/articles/16966572-using-arc-chain-by-circle-with-relay#h_8ba22de7d4). Once switching your wallet to Arc, your token balance should appear. If you still can not see the token, contact your wallet's support team.
Which wallets support Arc? How do I add Arc to my wallet?
Arc is EVM-compatible, but wallet support can vary. Use Arc’s official mainnet network details and your wallet provider’s instructions to add or select Arc. Before receiving funds, confirm that the wallet can both display Arc and sign a transaction on it. Never share your recovery phrase with Relay Support or enter it on a site linked by another person.
For step-by-step instructions on adding a network to your wallet, see How do I change chains in my wallet?.
My transfer to Arc says "completed," but nothing arrived. What should I check?
Follow the steps below:
Check the transaction on relay.link/transactions. If it shows “Completed,” the transaction page will show the destination network, recipient address, asset, and amount delivered. Confirm these match what you expected.
Ensure your wallet is switched to the Arc network. Sometimes, funds on Arc are invisible while your wallet is on another chain.
Ensure that you are looking at the destination address shown on the transaction page, which may differ from the wallet you sent from if you set a different recipient.
If the address and network are correct but a token is still missing, refresh your wallet. Some newer tokens may need to be imported using their verified contract address. Native assets such as ETH cannot be imported this way.
My transfer failed. Where did my funds go?
A failed transfer can have different recovery outcomes. Open the Relay transaction page first. If it shows a refund, use the linked refund transaction and check the displayed refund chain and address. If it says the funds are available to withdraw, follow relay.link/withdraw. If neither outcome is shown, or the failure involves wallet screening, contact Support instead of retrying or assuming the funds were returned.
How do I move funds off Arc?
On relay.link/bridge, connect your wallet, select Arc as the chain you are sending from. Your wallet will need to be switched to Arc to sign the transaction, and you will need a small amount of USDC left over for the fee.
My wallet won't show a signature prompt on Arc. What's wrong?
Confirm that the wallet is connected to the correct Arc mainnet network, and the account has enough USDC for gas. Refresh or reconnect the wallet, then check the wallet provider’s Arc support.
This could also mean your wallet does not fully support Arc yet. Some wallets, especially mobile wallets, cannot estimate fees on a newly launched chain and fail silently before asking you to sign. Try a desktop wallet with Arc added as a custom network.
I bought a token on Arc and it disappeared from my wallet seconds later. What happened?
First, check relay.link/transactions or the Arc block explorer to confirm whether the Relay swap completed and delivered the token to the intended address. If delivery succeeded, review that address’s later activity separately.
A later balance change can have several causes, including unusual or malicious token contract behavior, a transaction authorized using the wallet’s signing credentials, or a previously granted approval or permit that allowed another address or contract to transfer the token. The transaction history must be reviewed before the cause can be determined.
Relay executes the selected route but does not guarantee the safety of unverified third-party token contracts. Once an onchain transaction is confirmed, Relay cannot reverse it or recover the transferred tokens. Relay does not have access to your wallet’s private keys and cannot independently initiate transactions from it.
If you see transactions you did not authorize, treat the wallet as potentially compromised: stop using it, create a new wallet using a trusted provider and secure device, move any remaining assets if safe, and review or revoke existing approvals. Send Support the Relay transaction link, wallet address, and any later transaction hashes. Relay can investigate and submit suspicious addresses for screening review, but cannot guarantee that an address will be blocked or that funds can be recovered.

How do I check the status of my transfer?
Every transfer has a transaction page on relay.link showing the deposit, the delivery, and any returned funds, with links to the block explorer for each. Use the link you received when you started the transfer, or search your wallet address at relay.link/transactions. See How do I find my transaction? if you need help locating it.
