Relay can keep more than one wallet available at the same time, for example an EVM wallet and a Solana wallet. You choose which wallet a swap sells from and which one receives, and you can connect a different wallet whenever you need to. Nothing below moves your funds.
Change the wallet a swap uses
On the swap form, each side has its own wallet control. The Sell row sets where the funds come from, and the Buy row sets where they land. They can be different wallets.
On the row you want to change, click the wallet control. It reads Select wallet when no wallet has been chosen for that side yet, and shows the wallet address once one has. Then pick the wallet you want to use.
Changing the wallet on a row does not disconnect anything and does not move any funds. Check the addresses on both rows before you confirm a swap.
Connect another wallet
If the wallet you want is not available yet, click Connect in the top right, or Connect Wallet on the swap form. A Log in or sign up window opens with a searchable list of wallets. Wallets you already have installed are marked Installed, and the one you connected most recently is marked Last used.
Pick your wallet and approve the connection request. You can also add a wallet from the button next to your address in the wallet panel. You do not have to disconnect anything first, as Relay can hold more than one wallet at a time, which is what lets you sell from one chain and receive on another.
If you only want the funds to arrive somewhere else
Changing your connected wallet is not the same as changing where a transfer lands. If your goal is to receive funds at a different address, leave your wallet as it is and change the recipient instead:
Always check the recipient address before you confirm. A transfer sent to the wrong address cannot be reversed.
Remove a wallet instead
If you want a wallet gone rather than just inactive, see Disconnect Wallet from Relay.
If the wrong wallet keeps being used
Check the wallet control on both the Sell and Buy rows. The addresses shown there are the ones that will be used.
Refresh the page if the form is showing an address you have already changed.
If your wallet extension holds several accounts, make sure the account selected inside the wallet itself is the one you intend to use.
If Relay keeps reconnecting a wallet you removed, remove
relay.linkfrom your wallet's connected sites, then reload and connect the one you want.
Still stuck? Open the chat widget on relay.link and tell us which wallets you are trying to use, and we will help.
